Your mattress can determine how well you sleep. You spend around 8 hours in bed and the mattress needs to be the right one or you could be causing yourself pain and discomfort during the day. I recommend a firm mattress with a memory foam pad on top or the sleep number bed. You must let the memory foam air out in the garage or spare room because the smell is bad when it first comes out of the package. If your mattress is to soft, your muscles never relax because they contract to keep the joints and spine in place. If the bed is to firm you can create pressure points. If your bed is over 10 years look at replacing it with a firm mattress.
